No Rob, it doesn't look like one of Rene's (despite my total admiration for the master). Although there are a few similarities (you both like grey tones) your own distinctive style comes through here. It's a smashing little painting! By the way, did you change your blog template? I like this one better.
i thought,sheila,because of the cold cool grey/blue morning colors and big foreground it looked like rene's normally i use more colors and less grey...anyway glad to hear i've got my own style..
just changed the background colors and moved the side bar.glad you like it,thanks!

My wife found your other blogs and told me to see them. Where do you live in Wales? We visited in 1990 and stayed in Llanberis. We were there during the summer and it seemed much warmer than this picture looks.

The colors depict a cool, brisk atmosphere. Love the way the road leads the eye right to the focal point.
