This one has fabulous composition. It is great how the zickzack is going into depth and how you paint such a colorful atmosphere.
Greets from sunny Vienna!
Hi Stefan,i was very pleased with this at the time, one of those paintings, compared with other works in the same period, that was ahead of its time.
weather is not to bad here either, but i'm stuck inside painting cars!
Hi Rob,
Nice to see your landscapes, came to your blog through arts4u(?) blog. Are you Dutch by any chance?
Marina
jazeker Marina!
Bit diffrent the Welsh, landscape niet?
Hi Rob,
Good to see you back in action.
I like the way the composition draws you into the landscape. Beautiful use of cool colors and soft edges which creates a sense of tranquilty.
Lovely!
i'll gladly accept your compliments
jennifer.
i'm not acctually back in plein air mode...it is hard after a while!
admire your work so much!!!
Hi Rob,
It's the first time I've visited your blog, I must say I am really blown away! Your paintings are fabulous, I love the mood evident in every single one! not to mention you have areal knack for comp.I will definately be checking back
The Welsh landscape is certainly different from the Dutch - but very interesting, judging by your paintings.I guess that pretty soon no landscape will be left in Holland, if they keep on building like they do....
Some years ago I participated in the Harlech Biannual in Wales, did not get to go personally as I was just preparing my move to the USA.
groeten vanuit een heel koud Milwaukee,
Marina
