Tree Valley

Sorry,i haven't posted any landscapes for a while,been busy with my new project, http://www.car-a-day.blogspot.com where i paint a (racing) car a day,so just to keep things going ,till i go out again,a plein air from a couple of years ago


Tree Valley oil on canvas 9x12" nice to see some snow,haven't had any this winter!

This one has fabulous composition. It is great how the zickzack is going into depth and how you paint such a colorful atmosphere.

Hi Stefan,i was very pleased with this at the time,one of those paintings,compared with other works in the same period,that was ahead of its time.
weather is not to bad here either,but i'm stuck inside painting cars!

The Welsh landscape is certainly different from the Dutch - but very interesting, judging by your paintings.I guess that pretty soon no landscape will be left in Holland, if they keep on building like they do....
Some years ago I participated in the Harlech Biannual in Wales, did not get to go personally as I was just preparing my move to the USA.

yes Marina,every time i go back to Holland it's more build up,can't find the places where i played as a kid!
soon it will be just one bog city
