I'm pretty sure they're barbed wire hair snags, used for DNA identification and counting of grizzly bear populations. An amazing number of grizzly bears have passed through this field.

Hi Rob - I just spotted your blog title on Bill Guffey's blog and had to come and investigate. Then I find that you're based in Llandrindod Wells! I live in Newbridge on Wye - so - hello neighbour! Your work is wonderful. I especially like the green monster bushes. LOL.

I once read a children's book which described imagined creatures as ...Kicklesnifters"! Doesn't that have a wonderful ring to it!?HAHA!! Great post.. I enjoyeed it!

Look like sheep covered in bracken or straw. Great change of Monet's haystacks though.
I'm not sure what they are (hay bales that were in a tornado?) but you captured some fantastic color and light in this one!

yes no matter what,light is what its all about!
you should try it rahina,i use a pink salmon for my grounds,it really helps painting the light!
