water buffalo? (well everyone else has used up all the good answers and are possibly wrong so i thought i'd push the boat out a bit)! great lighting and love how the ground shows through giving the impression of reflected light.
I'm pretty sure they're barbed wire hair snags, used for DNA identification and counting of grizzly bear populations. An amazing number of grizzly bears have passed through this field.
i'm impressed by all of your imagination folks...you must be artists! ok i'll better tell you then... i think they are cut tree stumbs grown over with grasses
Hi Rob - I just spotted your blog title on Bill Guffey's blog and had to come and investigate. Then I find that you're based in Llandrindod Wells! I live in Newbridge on Wye - so - hello neighbour! Your work is wonderful. I especially like the green monster bushes. LOL.

Beautiful painting of unidentified grassish things.

Have no idea, but they sure are lovely in the light and snow!
Spring goblins! Rather pretty ones!
No, Rene was right, definitely triffids.
Look like sheep covered in bracken or straw. Great change of Monet's haystacks though.
I'm not sure what they are (hay bales that were in a tornado?) but you captured some fantastic color and light in this one!
If they were in Ireland, they'd be leprechaun houses, Rob! But you've caught some great light there regardless.
