here and there
Days are dark here too Rob - but your paintings are beautiful !! Thanks for visiting my blog.
no thanks squib,it was my pleasure, let's hope it snows soon!
Excellent painting, great sense of scale and distance.
thanks for the compliment Christopher, sometimes i'm surprised myself what you can do on such a small panel.
Can't recall if I've been to Rhayader, years ago probably, but I was passing through Llandrindod Wells this summer (stopped there for lunch). Your painting looks very wintery Welsh, particularly with the misty hills and wet road. Lovely detail and scaling of houses too. Well done.
hey Andrew!nice to hear from you again,i hope it means you've been outside swinging that brush!yes Rhayadar is not very far from Llandod, the Elan valley is close as well..a painting paradise.
You are making me want to come to Wales to paint (in the summer of course).
haha, you are welcome anytime,Rainethere is to much to paint for me alone!
It's dark here in the Pacific Northwest too. Gorgeous painting! One can almost feel the cold damp day.
