Good to see you've been so productive and taking advantage of the great weather too. This is a fresh painting, very evocative of Wales. I noticed how green it is in Wiltshire too, thinking this looks 'springish' recently. I'm so tied up with other projects but must get out there with paints again soon.
thanks for stopping by Andrew yes isn't the weather great! mind you those clouds and lying down cows,can only mean one thing...rain!! i noticed when you look towards the sun the grass looks greener, almost acid green,plus the lower sun,makes it look like spring indeed,
Trouble is they need their tractors to run properly. How about painting tractors! Also, if you paint more portraits of their prize cows, bulls and other animals they may come over to your way of thinking - and commission you to greater things.
yes indeed Andrew,done quite some sheep!i'm painting some farm houses at the moment they like lots detail and no atmosphere...lol...oh well,it pays the rent (a bit)
That's the trouble with commissions. People often expect you to change your style. They just don't get it!
Congrats on finding a new gallery! Do you send slides/printed sheets/resumes round to people, or do you visit them with a portfolio? It's something I should do.

Word round these parts say that cows lying down mean it will be sunny. That's funny :-)

Lesley,i find,if i phone or e-mail,not much happens...so cold calling is my choice of attack!
don't like doing it but it has to be done...no money,no painting!
sell most of my work through the net though...perfect!
