Barcelona

two little studies done on my pochade box, during our wonderful time in Barcelona
the top is the unmistakable Gaudi Cathedral Sacrada Familia....looking very organic and full of tourists

and below as a contrast one of the many lovely squares....full of local life...

both oil on panel 5x8"

Hi there Amigo!... Ole!...Ole! These two small gems are crammed to every inch with colour and movement! A veritable feast of pleasure for the eye!

Though it's in Spain and the Gardi... instead of Monet and France... your treatment of colour is just as airy... magnificent... and evocative!

Well done Mate!

Good Painting!
Warmest regards,
Bruce

Very good work Rob, I hope will be great for Barcelona. I lived there and I know quite well the work of Gaudí.
A hug

We must have been there at the same time. Wonderful stuff. I only managed to get a small watercolour box in the luggage and when I eventually return home I'll see if any of my stuff is worth putting up. Love your little memory pieces. Thanks Rob.
