Hey there Mate!... One piece of blue sky... does not a summer make!
But all the other ingredients that you have captured so well... and have arranged in such a vivid landscape as this little gem... create a sense of summer that makes my heart sing!
Good painting!... Happy Summer! Warmest regards, Bruce
Yes it has been sparse summer (the best bit was sunny April) but at least you got to France and Spain. Some of us met in Malvern area to paint last week, and it was sunny practically all day. Be good to see you if you can make one of these meetings one day Rob.
yes andrew spring seems to be the best part of the year...then it is straight to winter with lots of rain inbetween!! hehe yes would be good to meet up one day...one sunny day!!

Blue skies all around up here!
This is a super painting!
Love the foxgloves, a sure sign of summer, despite the skies!
Hi Rob, great, this reminds me of my Liguria
Frank - Italy.
You must have a great collection of these small pieces that sing of the countryside around you. All your usual verve and lovely colour.

Don't forget it's the wet sunshine that makes Wales (and Scotland) the place it is!
This painting is full of sunlight anyway.
A wonderful painting, Rob! It looks so green and cool and pleasant, unlike Texas where it's 100F almost every day!
