There's a childrens story called 'The owl who was afraid of the dark' where the owl was shown by mum that the night ws full of colour if only he looked.
This is the equivalent in paint - great stuff Rob.

Gorgeous Rob, this is terrific! I love the blue /yellow palette. you are right snow gives the most amazing colours... but hang on a sec, I thought you lived in the country...i will have to read back through your posts to see if you've moved or something!

It's not because I'm not interested or captivated by your work... "I" have just had "too many irons in the fire"... as the old saying goes!

This nocturne is top drawer Mate. What a wonderful ambience and "Christmassy " feel you have captured in this one!

The light and mood in your last one has that same level of eye appeal and ambience! Could be anywhere really!

Love the honesty and painterly quality that seems always to be present in your work! Good stuff!
