here and there
Beautiful little gem.
thank you leslie,it was so nice to be out there
This is so sunny and vibrant. Oil seed rape fields make me sneeze so I can understand why you had to be quick. x
Your ability to render the landscape with a few deft strokes is admirable. Another beauty.
Wow Rob, that field just glows!
Hi Rob!... A beautiful quiet piece that "hums" with colour excitement!Easy to see why "You" were attracted to the subject... and you really capitalized on the use of complentaries here! Well done! Thanks for you visit and gracious comments left on my site... much appreciated!Good painting and warmest regards,Bruce
Hi again Rob!...Oops on the complementaries typo... my tired brain!Cheers!Bruce
beautiful, just love these yellow fields!
Hi Rob.I like this one very much. I painted a Rape field last year and it didn`t work out for me. I think it was because I was being too fussy depicting it. You have done a brilliant job Here Rob. All the best.Vic.
That bright yellow is so difficult to get with paint, but you've done a brilliant (!) job by using complimentary colours.
yes gillian that pollen is so strong, got some on my trousers and it looked like pure lemon yellow on my trousers
that is excactly what i was trying to do mick!keeping it simple, fresh and show off those brush strokes...don't want to bore anyone.
hi liz,yes it was a bit overcast, but those yellow fields are like suns themselfes
