I must say I'm glad I don't LIVE where there is snow, but I'm always a bit jealous of those who do because some like you are able to paint it so beautifully.
hey, so are we rob! snow then it turned to ice and now more powdery snow to hide the lethal frozen ground! this is a lovely piece is that a finger print towards the left lower half of the canvas?:)
Dear Rob - a belated happy new year to you! What a cracking little painting - so much value to it. When I clicked on it to enlarge I was astounded by the colour you have captured in that snow. Also the eau de nil type green in the sky has made that heavy with more snow as well - just how the sky feels when it is snowing. You are inspiring me to have a go myself!
Two days of food and plenty of paint can go a very long way ;-) Glad I don't have to deal with those frosty winters anymore. Although I do crave painting 'snow' scenes every now and then. You paint them exceptionally well! "Snowed in (again)" is a beauty!
I think this is one of the best things about being snowed in: painting! We had our 3rd blizzard ever in the last 2 weeks - still with snow on the ground now and bitter cold. Nice work Rob.

Have a great year!
Very nice!
It's perishing here but no snow as yet - I'm hoping we miss it. I don't like the sound of that 40cm they're forecasting is coming south!

Great work Rob. I think there will be plenty more snowy days yet by the sound of things.
