here and there
Lovely, Rob..I must say I'm glad I don't LIVE where there is snow, but I'm always a bit jealous of those who do because some like you are able to paint it so beautifully.Have a great year!
Very nice! It's perishing here but no snow as yet - I'm hoping we miss it. I don't like the sound of that 40cm they're forecasting is coming south!
hey, so are we rob! snow then it turned to ice and now more powdery snow to hide the lethal frozen ground! this is a lovely piece is that a finger print towards the left lower half of the canvas?:)
Great work Rob. I think there will be plenty more snowy days yet by the sound of things.
We are snowed in too. Time for drawing and doing all those jobs we always meant to do but never got round to it. Love your painting.
i don't think i would like snow if i couldn't paint it,to be honest marianit is indeed a pain in the back sitebest wishes for you too ofcourse
no hope of avoiding it katherine.make the most of it!
yup, that is my thumb rahinasomething cosy about being snowed in,time for soup, bread and more wood on the fire...
you must be an old hand in this keith, love to see what you do with it in paint
yes carolann, enjoy it!the world can wait!
Great title! I know the feeling!Nice colours in this RobHappy New YearRyan
Dear Rob - a belated happy new year to you! What a cracking little painting - so much value to it. When I clicked on it to enlarge I was astounded by the colour you have captured in that snow. Also the eau de nil type green in the sky has made that heavy with more snow as well - just how the sky feels when it is snowing. You are inspiring me to have a go myself!
Two days of food and plenty of paint can go a very long way ;-)Glad I don't have to deal with those frosty winters anymore. Although I do crave painting 'snow' scenes every now and then. You paint them exceptionally well!"Snowed in (again)" is a beauty!
I think this is one of the best things about being snowed in: painting! We had our 3rd blizzard ever in the last 2 weeks - still with snow on the ground now and bitter cold. Nice work Rob.
compared with you up scotland ryan we can't complain...getting fed up with it though!best wishes for you too!
go for it sheila, you must have had your fair share of the white stuff up north, thanks for the kind words and all the best to you and your mum as well!
looks like it has to last longer than two days jennifer, they are talking about two weeks eeek!painting snow is fun but enough is enough!!
hi celestehope you will be able to enjoy your snow,it seems to be everywhere!
