Glad you had a great time Rob. Smashing painting too !!
Wonderful, Rob. I love them all nestled there in the light. Sounds like a fun day. Also love your posts from the paint-out in Ireland. You really captured the movement and spirit (and rain!)
Liz
This is great Rob! Like Liz, I too loved the Irish paint out, and of course, the Tour de France was just great!
You seem to be spending a lot of time travelling at the moment. Lucky chap. How do you fine the time to paint when you take your kids away? We spend a lot of time with our grand kids and it is virtually impossible to contemplate getting out the paints. Great picture by the way, love the clamness that the colour scheme induces.
thanks sheila
holland was geweldig!
they were some of the few animals staying still liz and they were hard to ignore catching that light so well, cheers!

ussually it is the wives that cause trouble :-D
Found the pelicans, love the colours in the water, reflections, I should say. I'm sticking to the animal theme, wild ones this time.
those elephants look impresive james!
Rob, I saw this one on WC and just love it. your comment 'It's the darks that makes the lights' (or something like that) on WC really made a light bulb go on!
How many times have I heard that ....or read that.... but this time (looking at your painting) it was duh!....of course!
