When we had sheep I was always amazed that the sheep were smarter than most give them credit for. the movement of the shading branches and the sheep on the water's edge is very real to me.
We have lots of sheep down here in Devon also! I have been meaning to ask you...have you changed your colour palette recently? I adore the fresh colours you are using. Maggie
no maggie, haven't changed a thing for ages, maybe it is the summer colors or maybe i'm more able to leave strokes alone and keep them fresh with no fussin'

i tried to carch the shadows with cool vs warm instead of dark vs light...
Lovely sense of light, as usual, and beautiful colours.
I like the way the sheep are understated.
