Rob, East Enders.... full of doom and gloom! I went to art school in Cardiff many, many moons ago....so I know how bleak some of the llittle mining towns can be even on a sunny day! I do like this painting though....I don't think the paintnng looks bleak one bit! Hey, more snow to come over the weekend I believe. It's practically balmy down here in mid Devon. My bulbs are confused. I was up on Dartmoor painting the other day and although chilly , needed my sunglasses!
well maggie lets all be happy we don't live in these place,they feel like no future... maybe i'm to romantic to make a really gloomy painting... yes snow bring it on!
Enders, schmenders, ignore the fools all they do is doom and gloom... "whats goin on?" It is not life as it should be and you are right far too many people watch it. Rob... this aint bleak mate, you are out there painting beautiful paintings, and you get snow, come down to cornwall for some good honest drizzel and mist and an eastender ban, well in my house anyway!!
that sounds really inviting sarah and i could do with a break,but i rather come down when the sun is out painting that green water! bet you don't watch match of the day...

Looking at it at a cozy place, on my PC it's a nice view. I like the minimal effort you used to paint the roofs, very well done.
