Hey Rob,
Here in north Georgia, USA, a Hereford is a cow and a mighty fine one. In my Google reader I saw your title before I saw the painting. Nice surprise! I really like the light and sparkle here. And I love the way you always push the paint.

There are so minimal yet so full of suggestions, .. awesome

Don't know what's happened to you Rob, but I like your new approach so full of color and joy, could it be a sense of freedom?

I love your paintings - the Hereford one is so atmospheric! Do you paint on site and if so how do you do it so quickly?

Your degree of abstraction in these paintings is fabulous. I dig the night scene.
Thanks for your comment on my blog.
Cheers...Nue

hi annie,
glad you found me,i dig your blog too.living on a narrow boat in london...yes!
i paint mostly on location,i learn the most from that, when i smoked it took 2 hours, now after quiting one hour to do a plein air...
these however were done in the studio from pics,i like doing that too,you can be more expresive, outside nature is so big...
