Great Spring paintings Rob. Wonderful colour in this daffodil one. Your work always makes me think I ought to get out there and have a go at some plein air stuff myself.
Oooooh... I would love to skip through that field with nothing but a straw hat on. Daffodils happen to be my favorite blossom! Gorgeous piece by the way! Happy Spring my friend.....
it's not often i'm lost for words Jennifer, but you got me there, hahaha! just let me concentrate on the painting first... thanks for starting my day with a good laugh and wonderfull vision!
Very cool. I like how you simplified the scene Rob. Nice purples and greens with yellow. It is good to see the photo of the location and how you interpreted it.
Beautiful work Rob. Love the brushwork, the brilliant touches of color. Your photos are lovely, too and your interpretations of them very poetic. I'll visit often and post a link if OK. Jack
Been looking through all your work, discovered you on the art forum. Your art is direct , honest and quite superb! Heres wishing you continued success!
Hi Todd,it was fantastic standing amongst all that yellow... easy? i know you know better... but yes i didn't have to suffer for this one. thanks for your kind words!
hey Mister snowmaster! funny you should say that,we had a sprinkling of the white stuff overnight...but gone in the morning. snow and daffodils would make for an intersting picture
Hello Rob. I've just had a look here after your visit to my blog. I like your work, it has an intimate quality to it. I like the way you go for the things that interest you and not necessarily the picturesque views. We haven't got any daffodils up here in the North of Scotland yet, but hopefully it won't be long.

Lovely complementary colors, Rob --- and those lambs from your last posting are simply terrific!!
