Morning,Afternoon,Evening.

all of the UK has been blessed with a week of glorious weather...painters every where...lol.
didn't do all these in one day, just indulged picking my moment over three days...

frozen tracks...oil on canvas 7x9"

every day started with frost and mist, wich slowly got burned of during the morning.

puddles...oil on canvas 7x9"

the afternoons where like Spring, T shirt weather!

last light on the sheep shed...oil on canvas 8x10"

it was so peaceful in the shed, the sheep munching away, pregnant, ready for laming next month.
the farmer moved his tractor for me,wich helped with the composition...

I think these "frost and mist" paintings are wonderful!
What a great series, I wish we had just a little bit of that weather where I live (my climate is hot-hardly ever gets to freezing).

Hi there! And thanks for your comments on my paintings. I'm enjoying looking through yours - especially these recent pathways. I've been working on pathways of various descriptions over the past month or so, too.

So, nice to meet you, I'll subscribe so that I can see your work regularly.

Cheers

These are super Rob...love the tractor sillouetted in the door. good shapes in it too. I also like that green/blue misty one.

thanks for the kind words Suzanne,
yes path ways are good compositional tools, leading the eyes through the painting plus there are many around

thanks Sally, yes the tractor was a good move, the farmer had it there the day before and gave me the idea.
just had to wait for the right light to hit the shed.
