Gouda

Edward Seago an English artist, had painted a windmill in Gouda nearly a hundred years ago, right across where i used to live...here are our efforts...

Rene's painting... his blog

mine...

and this is how it should be done...Seago

here is Rene hard at work, while i'm still milling around...it is fun seeing him paint,Rene attacks the scene and canvas like a young lion, full of enthousiasm,i'm still walking around, thinking, looking and Renes' easel is shaking, all arms and elbows, sticking out everywhere...when i finally take a brush to hand,Rene is allready covered in paint en nearly finished!

I wish I cold be there with you guys.It looks like you bothe had a lot of fun. You are both such an inspiration for me to keep painting.

I am a combination of the two of you. I take a lot of time to start painting, but I always end up covered in paint.

maybe it was better you weren't there peter, with the two of you slinging paint around,i would surely be covered in paint too!

Fascinating to see all this going on - I'm going to be featuring the blogs/sites of you Rene, and Bart on my weekly round-up on Sunday. That photo of Bart looks like it's make a great addition to my post (plus a link to that blog post) - any chance of using it?
