Ongelofelijk mooi Rob!

Unbelievable beautiful!!

Indeed lovely figures, a monumental

Cool composition, and great color.

Hi Ed!
i wasn't sure about the composition at first,
the tree was to dominant,so i cut left and bottom
it was a 9x12" before,i think it works better now...

good luck with your show!

Great Painting, Rob and I think it´s perfect the way it is.

hi Stefan,i appreciate your vote of confidence, but i have to dissagree,if only for the fact of keeping improving

Rob, I think in every painting lies failure. That makes you do the next one. So if you have already painted the perfect one, there is no need to continue. I meant that this painting is coherent.

ofcourse you are right Stefan,
from painting to painting we go
trying to understand and get better.

and btw,if i had painted the perfect picture,i would like to do many more!
painting,especially plein air,what else is nicer...only a few things...

Got some real nice contrast going here .
The tree makes for a nice dramatic shape.

i've got this little voice in my head when i'm out there,it repeats, contrast, contrast!

Hiya Rob
Thanks for calling by. I see you have been really busy out there in lovely Wales, capturing the glorious Spring. The day you painted this was my Birthday, so a great day for a party. You must be very diciplined, going off to paint whilst everyone was jolly and eating, but at least they fed you too. Cheers. A
