don't know about luck,some better drawing skills and lots of practise might help....
Wonderful painting for the eyes to behold! I love the photo of the scene - allows for appreciation of your ability to record the beauty rather than just details.
Luck is also needed, just to look at the right time to the right direction is luck. What's life without luck?

Have you noticed how the trees are absolutely LOADED with blossom this year? I've always wanted to do one of these street scenes with blossom but never got round to it - well done you!
