Hi Rob I was wondering how you managed to paint that. It is a great theme and out of the ordinary. The vibrations must have loosened up your brushwork. ;-)

Hi Stefan,i parked my car on a little layby,i've got a tiny paintbox, wich makes it possible to paint in small spaces (see Newbridge on Wey post in December)

i used the viewfinder of my digital camara to draw the shapes of the lorry, you might think why paint on the spot ,if you use your camara?
well..as you know, you can never get the colors and atmosphere you see from a photograph plus there is no substitute for being there in the moment, having to finish in about two hours.

Thanks Rob for the answer and you are right about painting on the spot. I think, if one has got enough painting experience from life, it is okay to use the camera. Your paintbox is super.

Thanks also for posting my link on your site. I will do the same.

As our old friend BobRoss always used to say: Happy Painting! :-))
