Newbridge on Wye

ethis was at three in the afternoon,so dark allready, painted this in the car,the weather is so miserable! Wind, rain, wind, rain, for more than two weeks now!

oil on panel 6x8" can you spot a big mistake?

fixed this little box,for the car,not ideal, but this boy has to go out to paint, despite the weather. It holds three panels and the palette slides out, underneath is a little space for materials

Rob, not only can't I spot the "big mistake", but I think this painting is my favorite of the day from the Daily Painters! Wonderful, wonderful.

Great looking painting! Are they driving on the wrong side of the road?

Second guess, no palm trees? hehehe!

well done!
you are right on both accounts, lori

hows the weather in your parts of the woods?

Rob, its raining and windy today, it looks like a fall day up north. Our trees have some colors in them instead of just green. Not as bright as up in the north though. Ochers. 75 degrees. We need the rain bad so I am happy.

Am enjoying your paintings. I'm also on Daily Painters (a newcomer on the site, but have been painting little 'uns for several years). If you want some snow, come to north Idaho! We have lots here. I do like the images you're painting, even though they are of fog and rain, grey weather and lack of sunshine. You do them well! Blessings, DMB
