second painting from this sunday,painted at noon and the shadows are long! It's unbelievable mild,the colors are at their peak overhere in Wales. so much beauty,so little time... and such limited skills...
You''ve really caught the moment of light here. And I know that feeling well - the fleeting nature of it all, from seconds, minutes (as clouds move), hours (as shadows move and the day changes), to days as leaves fall and the season moves on. And its all so vivid and unique to the time you're painting. Don't mind about the skills, you've got plenty to keep practising with and the enthusism to use them. Keep at it.
that is such a nice comment Andrew. i know my limitations,they keep me growing! yes it is frustrating at times,but painting outside is the only way to catch those fleeting moments,photo's can catch those moments too,but you just don't get the colors and energie...
