I happened on your blog today as I was randomly skipping through blogspot. Nice colors and moods in your paintings. I'm a big fan of the Impressionists & Post-Impressionists and I see the influence here. Beautiful work.
hi lesley, thanks for your very nice comments. that easel was build by a friend in Holland,it works a treat and is small and very light, ideal for those long plein air walking trips....
i got very excited, when i saw you choose the same view to paint on Angle beach,or so i thought...
Hehehe! That is incredibly similar! I can see why you thought they were the same place. I'm going to turn mine into a painting one of these days! Do you have any more paintings you made at the coast?
I've just been looking at your racing paintings on your website. The energy you manage to translate is fantastic! I admire the way you can paint such different subjects and pull both off.
I will keep checking back to see what you paint next!

all the best to you to
Hi Rob, your blog is fascinating!
You capture atmosphere beautifully. The colours really drew me to this one in particular.
I love seeing how you paint ourdoors. That easel looks very nifty. I don't think I've seen one like that with a palette at the front.
ps. I'd love to see your sketch of Angle beach.
