very atmospheric rob: i am often frustrated by the resulting photo of a painting as they rarely match the original and often some colours are quite jarring on the screen. but this is beautifully done. how do you paint and teach?
You really caught the glow from the sun in this painting. I particularly like the way the stream leads into the painting and the trees and fence keep me looking around.
yes rahina it can be frustrating sometimes the picture even looks better than the painting...but never the same. how do i teach and paint? i teach by example... hope that doesn't sound arrogant
well keith you probably know,one of the hardest bit is finding the right subject,spot,light atmosphere etc and with a large group,it is even harder,so we were pleased with this little scene,mind you in holland they would die for a bit of nature like this...

i didn't edit the colors to much bonnie,blame the difference on my scanner...the scene was exciting enough,with the early light and long shadows...
